TRE (Trauma/Tension Release Exercises) Workshop - Bristol

21st February · 3pm-5pm
The Wild Box Yoga Studio · 14 Whitehouse Place
TRE (Trauma/Tension Release Exercises) is a gentle, body-based method designed to help release deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma. Through a series of simple movements, the body is invited into a natural neurogenic tremor reflex - a built-in mechanism that helps us discharge accumulated tension and return to a more grounded, regulated state.
As well as supporting physical relaxation, TRE can enhance emotional resilience, improve sleep, settle the nervous system, and increase a felt sense of safety and presence in the body. A key aspect of TRE is self-regulation: the ability to notice and respond to what is happening in the nervous system, working within a range that feels supportive, manageable, and empowering.
This 2-hour workshop offers spacious time to explore the tremor reflex safely and comfortably. With guidance, you’ll learn how to follow your own pace, pause when needed, and listen to the body’s cues — illuminating the body’s natural, innate intelligence for healing and restoration.
Participant Experiences
“The sessions were deeply grounding. I felt tension releasing from places I didn’t even know I was holding. Luke’s guidance is calm, reassuring and attuned.”
“I was nervous at first, but I felt completely supported. The tremors became easier each week. I now use TRE whenever I feel overwhelmed — it brings me right back to myself.”
“This work has helped me meet my anxiety in a new way. I feel more connected, softer, and more spacious inside. I wish I had found TRE years ago.”
